East Texas Integrated Circuits has specialized in the design and production of various IC's used in the OPTICAL ENCODER market as well as AUTOMOTIVE. While the majority of the IC's we provide are custom ASIC's, we also provide many standard optoelectronic devices for signal processing such as comparators, analog signal processors, interpolators and line drivers which are widely used in the optical encoder market worldwide.

In the OPTICAL ENCODER area, we have designed numerous "phased array" ASIC's using an interdigitated photodiode structure. On-chip amplifiers, signal processing, commutation and interpolation provide a complete "ENCODER-ON-A-CHIP" solution for almost every optical encoder application. We can customize any of these chips to your specific requirement.

In the AUTOMOTIVE area, we have designed a number of opto sensors for such wide applications as twilight sensing, solar sensing and digital output IC's for such encoding functions as stability control, door closure indicators, etc.

We provide complete front-to-back services from circuit design, wafer fabrication, wafer test, visual inspection, waffle pack, tape on reel, assembly and final test.
